October is World Menopause Month 🌿

And on 18 October, we celebrate World Menopause Day – a great opportunity to talk openly about menopause and the support available to women.

World Menopause Awareness Month

Menopause isn’t just about hormones.

The changes in oestrogen and progesterone can affect so much more – including our nervous system, sleep, stress levels and emotional wellbeing.

You might feel more anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted or simply not quite yourself.

Menopause isn’t just about hormones.

The changes in oestrogen and progesterone can affect so much more – including our nervous system, sleep, stress levels and emotional wellbeing.

You might feel more anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted or simply not quite yourself.

This is where reflexology can offer gentle support. 🤍

The calming, rhythmic nature of reflexology can encourage deep relaxation and support the body’s parasympathetic nervous system – our ‘rest and digest’ response.

And the vagus nerve plays an important role here, helping our body move away from that constant ‘fight or flight’ feeling and towards a calmer, more settled state.

Sometimes, during menopause, we simply need time to stop, breathe and be looked after.

Reflexology isn’t about ‘fixing’ your hormones. It’s about supporting you – physically, mentally and emotionally – through a significant stage of life.

🌿 You don’t have to navigate menopause alone.

If you’re in Sherborne, Dorset or the surrounding area, I’d love to support you.

Reflexologist, Fertility Massage Practitioner and Self-Hypnosis Downloads

I support emotionally overwhelmed women navigating fertility, IVF, pregnancy, miscarriage and menopause, who want calm, knowledgeable and compassionate support both in person and at home through Reflexology, Fertility Massage and Self-Hypnosis Downloads.

I strongly believe that treatment encourages emotional release, reduces tension, and brings about hormonal balance. This in turn helps to reduce levels of stress and anxiety.

I had the privildge of working at the Newlife Fertility Clinic for some 12 years whilst also running my practice in Weybridge, Surrey. However I now have my private Practice in Cheap Street, Sherborne, Dorset and The Dragonfly River Clinic in Addlestone, Surrey.

I am trained in Reproflexology™ and am a member of The Association of Reproductive Reflexologists, The Association of Reflexologists and The General Hypnotherapy Register.
